Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a family of musicians. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to traditional music, boleros from the past, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic performances. At age 16 she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started giving her a more intensive training in singing. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. While a young student and professional, she sang with many chamber groups and opera choruses in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. The love she has for the performing arts, music, and the arts keeps active in community projects both as an artist and educator. Ana was also a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor in The Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing classic Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
